In the unlikely event that school would not be open, for example in cases of extreme inclement weather (snowfall or ice), our procedure is as follows:
The decision whether to open school or not will be taken in the early morning. It is our intention that wherever possible, school will be open.
If the decision is taken to close the school, parents will be informed via:
- A message on this web page
- ParentMail text messages and/or emails (but these may be unreliable due to the very high volume of traffic)
- The 'St Peter's Catholic Primary School' Facebook page
- Surrey County Council Website: www.surreycc.gov.uk and click on ‘Bad Weather Closures’
