‘Curriculum’ means everything that is taught and experienced at St. Peter’s. The curriculum is designed to promote the spiritual, mental, emotional and physical development of the children and to prepare them for the opportunities and responsibilities of their future lives.
We aim to teach a broad and balanced curriculum so that, when our pupils leave us, they have developed both their knowledge and skills, so that they 'know more and are able to do more' (Ofsted).
Our curriculum meets all the requirements of the National Curriculum for England. Please click on the 'National Curriculum' tab (left) to see more information.
We strive for pupils with Special Educational Needs or Disabilities to have access to every part of our curriculum, making reasonable adjustments where necessary to ensure their engagement and success. Please click on the 'Special Educational Needs & Disability' tab (left) to read about our policies and practice.
